Jack is an editor who has been working in high-end TV and Film drama since 2014. His most notable credits are as assistant editor on Netflix’s The A List and across various seasons of Outlander. He also has experience in final post and as a promo/commercial editor. Highlights have been cutting (and grading) branded content for brands such as Nespresso, McLaren and Santander amongst many others. Despite his long term ambition as a high end drama editor, Jack continues to enjoy working across formats and being proficient in all stages of the post-production process.
As a filmmaker Jack is interested in making films about social issues, often influenced by being a (sometimes invisible) minority. Jack studied filmmaking at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where he made his graduation film ‘Gender Twister’. His next short ‘Bouba and Kiki’ premiered at the Glasgow Short Film Festival as part of the BAFTA qualifying Scottish Competition in 2019. That same year he was selected for the prestigious BFI Network Weekender. He’s recently been commissioned to make his next short as part of the Scottish Documentary Institute’s competitive Bridging the Gap program.
